Albatross Biplane Balsa And Ply

The Albatross Bipe is a beautifully built ARTF balsa model. the fuselage is made using a traditional stringer type balsa construction with fully built up wings. Designed to take a speed 380 motor, as it comes out of the box, the controls are rudder & elevator.

We feel that this model really needs ailerons, however these kits do not have them. We recommend either modifying the wing to create the ailerons, or make new ailerons & attach them to the trailing edge.
The reason We think it needs ailerons is the wings do not have any dihedral to help stabilize the model in the air, and as a result the plane could bank & be unrecoverable in flight.
We think that this would be an ideal bargain model for any reasonably experienced modeller that has some balsa building experience under their belts!
